A day of hiking turns deadly for Martinsville, Georgia, librarion Biscuit McKee when a woman plunges to her death right before her eyes. Looking down forty feet abouve the broken body, Biscuit recognizes the vibrant green shirt and its wearer. Diane Marie Ames was the kind of Georgia peach who was more sour than sweet: beautiful, weathy, spoiled and uppity. Biscuit didn't like the moman-but she didn't wish her dead.
